How do they work in practice?
Localization tags and cards operate using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and connect to a global network of devices anonymously. Each tag emits a unique code that is detected by nearby smartphones with the Apple Find My (iOS) or Google Find Hub (Android) feature enabled. These phones then securely send the coordinates to the user’s map – without sharing any personal information or identification.
